Applying to direct Entry MSN programs

Hey! I'm new to all nursing and have some questions and concerns about applying to direct entry MSN programs. I just graduated with a B.S. in biology (with chemistry minor). My GPA is a 3.31. I still need to take some prerequisites like A&P 1 and 2, microbiology, psychology, and lifespan and development. I plan to take these starting in the fall. My main concern is resume. I do not have any experience whatsoever. Is this a major factor? What kind of experience are they looking for? How do I find volunteer opportunities?

How competitive is my GPA? Will my biology background give me a boost?

What schools should I apply for? I live in Georgia and would like to stay close to home if possible.

Any my advise you can give me would be much appreciated, thanks!
