Make sure you get the study book that's provided by the people who administer the test. I only had to take the reading and math portions, but I was never concerned about the reading portion, just the math. I'm lousy at math. Really lousy. I failed/dropped out of geometry, wasn't any good with Trig, etc, and it had been about 10 years since I'd studied ANY kind of math whatsoever. I got the book and took the practice test, got about a 60%. I highlighted the questions I missed or just didn't have a clue on, and went back and studied them. I did this until my score was 95%. I reworked every problem, even the ones that I had memorized the answer for!

I also used math.com and purplemath.com to aid me in learning some math that I'd forgotten, or never knew how to do. USE THESE SITES if math is your weakness. I can't stress this enough.

If you have to take the science portion as well, use the same method. Just study every free moment you have. If you know everything in the book, you know everything that'll be on the test. It'll be different questions, but the same kinds of questions.

I ended up getting an 87, one of the highest scores, and accepted into nursing school. Good luck.

=D

Thank you so much for the info! I'll definitely take your advice! I know there is a book available for us so I'll probably buy it tomorrow. When have until Dec 1 to take it so I've go some time. Thanks again.
