Hi Guys,

Just tooks, hooray, I passed!

Question, what hospitals do you recommend in the Miami area, in terms of pay and training?

Hi,

I am in Hollywood. There are lots of hospitals and opportunities here. It depends on what you like the most. We have 2 childrens hospitals if you love peds (that's what I do :p ); if the ER is your thing it has to be Jackson (the local county hospital :chair: ); it also depends on the area. Downtown, suburbs, beach??? Dade or Broward???

Let us know what you are thinking. I'll see if I can offer any advice.

BTW - CONGRATULATIONS

Wow, I must have been tired. I see, now, that I missed have of my sentence. However, you understood that I took boards and passed.

Now, my areas of interest are med-surg tele or cardiovascular step-down. I actually live in Broward (miramar), but I don't know much about the broward hospitals....help!

hi,

i am right down the street in hollywood . if you are thinking med-surg - maybe memorial west or the new memorial miramar (they are newer and a little smaller).

if you are thinking cardio - definitely memorial regional on johnson st. (i work there at joe dimaggio :) ). there cardiac units are amazing (did my dad's quad-bypass :redbeathe ).

let me know what your thoughts are and email me if you like.
