Anyone know what the average Rad Tech salary is in Southern Wv ?

hello all,

I'm wanting to go back to school so bad I cant stand it! lol. I just really don't want to be an RN, I started out with the intentions of getting my RN after LPN school, and I just don't want to now. I don't want the responsibility, I don't want to make judgement calls that I don't feel that I'm capable of (no offense to anyone out there that reads this) I just don't want the headache. I admire each and every one of you for being able to, but it's just not for me.

I live in KY currently (near WV, plan on moving to WV soon as I get a degree! lol I miss it SO much.) I had applied for the Rad Tech Program at Morehead State Univ, got accepted. Now, if I decide to do this, I wont start until Aug of 2007, so I would finish around May 2009. What is the average salary for a Rad Tech in Southern Wv? I'm talking the Charleston/Huntington areas. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to spend two more years in school and make less than what I do now. My brother is actually a Rad Tech, he works in Louisville though, and makes great money. He said that depending on the area you're in, a Rad Tech can usually make a little more than an LPN and a little less than an RN.. Anyone know ?

thanks so much
