Anyone in at Baylor?

Anyone heard from Baylor yet?

Featured Replies

Got the call this morning. I'm a Baylor student!!! I still feel like I'm dreaming. Wow.

Just got the call to day! I was so down because UTHSC said 'no'. I figured I had like zero chance at Baylor because, well, it's BAYLOR.

But I got the phone call this morning! time to load up on student loans once again :)

Has anyone else gotten their letter to send in their deposit yet? In the phone call I thought he said the deposit was due this week but I still haven't gotten anything yet. Hope it wasn't a crank call.... heh....

I kept checking my cellphone to make sure there was really a Houston number on the call history

I got the letter yesterday and over nighted my deposit. I think it wasn't due until March? (don't quote me). So now I'm rounding up my vaccination history and such. Ms. Thomas said there would be another letter sent out with more stuff in it because I asked her if I was just supposed to send copies of all my vaccinations or if there was a form to fill out. She was like "Don't worry, it's still early". I'm just a little EXCITED and high strung and want to get everyting in NOW!!!

Hee, hee. Yeah, I know what you mean. I've done the same thing with checking my cellphone. :coollook: My letter finally came in today. I think I've read it about 20 times already. But I'm drawing the line at overnighting my deposit!!! :lol2: Can't wait to get to know my future classmates. The impression I got from the current students there was that we'd end up being a tight group. See you in June!!!

See? we're already getting to know each other. Before exams when we're all freaking out, I will be freaking out WAY MORE than everybody else (hey, at least I know my over night deposit got there!), and you will able to say "WHOA! take it easy, girly! Deep breathing, deeeep breathing. . . "

I'm so excited and nervous! I can't wait to meet eveybody. I'm sure I talked to some of y'all on interview day, although in a crowd of people I'm really rather quiet. I want to hear everybody's interview stories. I'm telling you I had NO idea how I did. When I met with the PA, he asked me a question that I had to have him clarify four times before I gave an answer that I STILL wasn't sure was relevant to what he asked. It wasn't even a clinical question, it was a question about how I view my nursing practice! HA! :D I was sure he thought I was an idiot. . . or perhaps he thought I was mature and intelligent because I was so determined to have him clarify the question so I could understand it correctly. Um, yeah, I'm leaning toward total idiot.
