Any current or recent UAB students?

I'm thinking about applying to UAB for admission 2016 or 2017. I'll be a commuter from Huntsville probably a day or two a week.

Can anyone tell me what the school hours were like for those first couple of semesters? Is school all day M-F, evenings as well? I will either stay on campus, off campus apartment or even a hotel on the nights I stay over, but I'm hoping the hours will work to where I can at least get back home a night or two a week.

Anyone do their clinical rotation in Huntsville? How were the hours at the hospital and did you have to go back to the UAB campus at all once starting the clinical portion?
