Almost 2 weeks and no results

So I took NCLEX on 6/21, I got 75 questions, tons of select all that apply, and the questions just kept getting harder and more obscure, I'm still getting the good PVT pop up, BUT I still haven't gotten results yet! Classmates of mine who took the exam more than one week after me already have their licenses!

I tried calling the BRN to find out if anything was missing from my application and the woman I spoke with looked up my account and told me she couldn't tell me if anything was missing, and that I should just keep waiting because the BRN website says current results take 2-4 weeks to post.

It just doesn't make any sense to me. I can only assume I failed? But I also feel like if I had failed, they still should have notified me in a similar time frame to others who took the test at the same time. If I didn't fail? What are they waiting for? Haven't they already reviewed my application to determine that I can sit for the test? If there was anything missing wouldn't they notify me so I can fix it?

I've been checking the Breeze website over 50 times a day, I'm full of anxiety, and really just want to know if I passed or not. I'm considering driving up to the BRN to see what is going on, since no one seems to be able to help via phone.

Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice? Do I just need to learn to be patient?

Why have you not tried Quick Results? You can pay $8 and get them in 48 hours if your state participates. What state are you in?

Don't have 'em in California! I sure wish we did!

I took them last Monday in va and we don't have quick results and I haven't been able to find anything out. It's a computerized test it shouldn't be thus difficult for us.

My thoughts exactly, Tas!! So frustrating

I had a similar issue when I got my CA license by endorsement. It took me 4 months to finally get my license and I was already in the state working as an MA until my license came through. Turns out they had my middle name wrong. Someone along the way had decided my middle name should be different. Anyway when I called the consumer line instead of the BRN line, I finally got hold of someone who helped me and I had my license the next day. I'm afraid your only choice is to keep calling until you get someone who will actually check and see what's going on...unless you want to drive to Sacramento.

California is so bad about licensing time frames. I had my name on the BRN website in South Dakota the morning after I took the NCLEX! I realize there's a huge difference in population numbers, but really, 4 months?!

I'm in the same exact boat as you. Also took mine on 06/21 in CA.. good pop up on PVT, still no results. I'm very frustrated

I finally saw my name and license number on the breeze this past Friday. I wound up driving to the BRN. When I got there I talked to the same person I had talked to in the phone who now for some reason could tell me that yes, there was likely an issue with my transcripts. So I left a copy of my transcripts (from two different schools) and got a shpeal about how it's going to take 2-4 weeks to process them, and then the next day my license was posted! From talking to a number of people who have recently taken nclex, it sounds like transcripts are often an issue, especially if you have them from more than one school. Or maybe the BRN just randomly throws them in the trash just to make torture people. If you haven't tried calling the BRN yet could be worth it if you really try pressing them for what is holding up your results, in my experience it was a waste of time, but at least I felt like I was doing something. Having your transcripts resent too could help.
