Specializes in Rural Nursing.

Hey everyone! I am looking into AGNP programs (MSN track), and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations (or warnings!). I am currently looking into Boise State University and George Washington University. Anyone have anything to say about either?

Hi. I was just wondering if you ended up applying to GWU and BSU. I applied to BSU's AGNP Primary Care program.

Specializes in Rural Nursing.

Yes I did, also Concordia univ- Wisconsin, and a program in Tenn.

I heard this past week I was accepted into Concordia, but havent heard from any of the others yet. Congrats on your acceptance! Are you nervous at all about it being the first cohort? Have you gotten any additional info?

Because I am an Idaho resident and hope to work in Idaho when I am done, I think it might be an advantage to be in the first cohort because the boise region won't be so flush with nurse practitioners. I was disappointed to find that the program is a bit more expensive than I thought. There appears to be an extra $1800 fee for each of the two classes they want you to take in the spring. (Please don't take my word for it. I am hoping to be wrong!) Have you decided which school you will be attending if you are accepted into all of them?
