Aggie seeking advice

Hi I am kind of new to the Air force and I have a few questions.

I have almost complete 4 years here in Virginia. I've learned many things and I love it. However we have always wanted to go overseas and have put in a request recently. How does the pcs process work and how long does it take. I started the process late May and have not heard any news yet. How likely is it that we get it. Our kids are in high school and we would like to get them started in school there by end of August. School starts here first week of September. We love the Air Force and would like to continue my education and get my MSN through the AFIT program as well. Please feel free to share any advice you may have. It is much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help
