I know there are a ton of Artna threads but I'm posting a new one because the other threads are do old. I'm looking at Aetna jobs in central

Do you enjoy your job? I'm looking as case manger positions.

Thanks for reading!

This is probably too late......but

First off, Aetna owns a company called American Health Holdings and many of the posting you see on the Aetna job posting is for this company. I do not have a good outlook on either company, I am a former case manager for American Health Holdings. This company is shady!! You will have patients in random states, so this means either you are practicing outside your scope and in states that you do not hold a license, or you attempt to get licensed in every state (No, you will not be reimbursed). AHH has a 9 hour per day billing quota, your salary is figured on 40 hours. There are many tasks that you are required to do but can not bill. There are many meetings that are mandatory that you do not get credit for. You have two options , work 50-60 hours a week or inflate your billing numbers. AHH has tons of tiny TPAs and clients, and they all want CM done "their" way, so you will waste hours trying to find out each requirement for this clients. Supervisors are not helpful, they do not even know half the clients they have and will direct you to asks a team member.

As a side bar - benefits are through Aetna. HR services are self service and computer chat/call centers are located in India. Getting anything done is a bureaucratic nightmare.
