I would really appreciate any advice or feedback on my situation. I am in my final year of a general nursing degree and I have come to the definite decision I do not want to work in a hospital environment. I love working with patients and helping them however I can not stand the lack of personalised care for patients, the lack of time to talk to patients, the hierarchy of managers and the constant stress and responsibilities. I know I want to help people but I don't know how to find the career for me. I am willing to go back to college and specialise maybe in occupational therapy or would love to work as a nurse in the community however most nursing jobs in the community I have seen all ask for years of experience in the hospital but i don't think I could handle the stress of working in these hospitals. Please help
