hi guys i am hoping to start a nursing degree next year and was wondering if anyone could suggest or has a uk based book list

or even some good text books to get started with

SmellyPants...I don't know about books in the UK but I suggest you subscribe to a nursing journal or two. Most are very inexpensive for students and they will have short, readable, up-to-date articles. They will help you start to THINK like a nurse which is very, very important. :specs: Our journals also have employment advertising which can help you think about areas of practice that might not occur to you. In the US, I'd suggest that you subscribe to Nursing 2005 and/or the American Journal of Nursing. You probably have something comparable there. Good luck!

thanks for your help and yes we do have a simialr title called nursing times so i will look into that.
