ADN program at Citrus collee

I applied to Citrus ADN for Fall 2016 and I also received an email to meet with the counselor. I met the counselor already though. It was around April 5th. I had to bring in a envelope with a stamp, SSN, and photo ID. I hope this means something because I doubt the counselors will appoint over 400 applicants to come in. They had verified that they have given me points for volunteer experience, low income family, hospital work experience, AA degree, and all general ed done. My grades are eh.. 3.1 cumm GPA and 3.6 core GPA. Plus, I work at one of their clinical sites @ Queen of the Valley and Inter-community Hospital so i'm hoping that helps.

Thank you! it helps a lot, it eases my anguish. I was not able to call to make an appointment on time so I have been waiting since, the lady said she will come back to the office on Thursday so I can call her then. I really hope this means something.

Did you have your appt yet? If not, ask them what the appointments means.. If we got accepted/alternates or if everyone has to go through this process.

I did. My appointment was last Thursday. I asked the lady if this meant something but she said no it is just part of the process that by the end of the month they will be sending the letters to the candidates and possible candidates for the RN program.

Anyone got a letter yet from Citrus college after meeting with the counselor?

Not yet. Previous Citrus ADN AllNurses threads say they received their letters around May 5th. I think by next Friday we will have our letters.

What did the letter say?! I haven't gotten mine yet =\ probably means the rejection letters are sent a little after the acceptance letters =\

Did you receive the letter? It said that I got accepted to the Program, I applied for the advance placement program maybe that is why I got it sooner.

No, I haven't received anything yet. I check the mail every morning.

I called the health science dept. and was told that some letters had already been mailed out and some are still in the process of being sent. Wasn't to clear if those late letters are for acceptance or denial.
