HOW INVOLVED IS ADMINSTRATION IN OTHER WORK PLACES? CAN YOU IDENTIFIY YOUR DIRECTOR OF NURSES?

WHY IS IT THAT EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION IS NOT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT...HEY YOU PEOPLE THAT WORK IN AREA'S THAT CAN HELP THE NURSES TO DO WHAT THEY ARE TRANINED TO DO,CHOSE TO DO AND LOVE."HELP". EVER OF HELD OF PUTTING A HOSPITAL ON BY PASS RELATED LOW STAFF OF HIGH AQUITY. Tried of hearing about a small hospital. HEY ALL YOU NURSES, IS THERE A LOT OF DIFFERANCE IN THE WAY WE PRACTICE.

MANDATE ADMINSTRATION TO BE EVALUATED ON NURSING SATISFACTION FROM IDENTIFING WHO IS WHO AND THE ACTION THEY TAKE TO KEEP THE STAFF HAPPY. IS THERE ALWAYS EQUIPMENT AVAILABE. EVALUATE WORK AREA, IS THERE ADUQUATE SPACE? PREVENTING THE ACTIVATION OF NEW POLICIES TILL IT IS A FOR SURE THING. TIME TO SPEAK OUT.....

Sorry for the last post, I hit the wrong button and sent it on accident than could not edit. Anyhow, I have been extremly frustrated also for over 20 years. However I have been lucky enough to find like minded nurses here in the Ohio chaper of the National Nurses Organizing Committee (NNOC). If you are unfamiliar with NNOC you can do a search on the web... there are ALOT of us out here in all states. WE are STANDING UP, VOICING OUR OPINION AND TELLING THE PUBLIC ABOUT UNSAFE STAFFING AND FIGHTING FOR RATIOS! Good luck to you and hope you find a NNOC member in your area!
