Acceptance Grades for Pathophysiology

I am a nursing student at the University of Alabama and was interested in hearing from some CRNA's or SRNA's pertaining to their grades in pathophysiology. Is this a heavily looked at class for acceptance?

Get a C in general in ANY nursing classes and you have some 'splaining to do for the adcoms, ESP pathophys. Patho and pharm is the foundation of anesthesia.

For our interviews, our folders were passed around and each individual kind of disengaged for a short while, looking over our letters of recs and transcripts. I sat on adcoms this year for upcoming juniors and this trend continued.

Are you having problems in the classes or what? Please utilize the resouces on this board if you are having any difficulties, we have all been there. Good luck in school.

Thanks for the info. I currently have a B plus in the class and I am taking the final this week which will cause me to have an A minus or B plus. My science GPA before upper division nursing school is a 4.0, but now in nursing school I believe I will encounter a few B's.
