I am trying to navigate pre-requisites, deadlines, programs, etc of trying to apply to accelerated nursing programs...is there a complrehensive site that I am missing? are there schools that any one can suggest offers a good program? i live in the bay area (california) and would love to stay on the west coast but will move anywhere to get into school...thank you for any help you can offer!

Discover nursing is a good website. It is www.discovernursing.com. On the front page, click under the "How" and then under search for nursing schools. Scroll down and under "scholarship level," you can pick accelerated BSN and it will give you a list of all the schools or you can do it by states. Hope this helps. :) I live on the east coast, so I can't be of any help with schools in the Bay area or in your neck of the woods.

Here's some CA schools with accelerated programs:

Mount Saint Mary's College in LA (12 months long)

*This school has a really good reputation for their accelerated program

Azuza Pacific University's EENAP Program (Early Entry into Nursing and Advanced Practice) with locations in San Diego and San Bernadino (15 months long)

Concordia University in Irvine (15 months long)

I already applied to Azuza Pacific and will be applying to Mount Saint Mary's and Concordia as well as other programs.....with my dream school being UCLA! :redbeathe

They have a two-year MECN program (Masters Entry Clinical Nurse).

I found the All Nursing Schools website to be helpful when I was researching accelerated programs in my area. Hope it helps!:D
