Accelerated LPN program

Hey guys! I think I made a mistake. I joined an accelerated LPN program and just finished my first class and think I chose the wrong program. The program is 10 months in total, which works perfect for the time frame I have to complete it.

The issue I'm having is apparently the classes are only 3 weeks long!  Unfortunately this was not made clear during the application process and I didn't think to ask since I've been in nursing school before. I'm used to classes being spread out over a few months.

It's a lot of information to absorb in that short of a time. Has anyone done a program like this before? Any tips or tricks to be successful? Super nervous and put all my eggs in one basket on this one.

Alright, I've decided I'm just gonna try to make it through the program since it is approved by my states BON.  The program sequence is very bizarre to me, but I'll make it work!  If anyone wants updates just drop a comment and I'll update after I complete each class. Good luck to all you guys!

This is what I signed up for too! I start in Jan. ?

Do you have any prep material (books) I can look into for MT, NF, & A&P? I was going to download them on audible!

What program are you attending

I have no prep material, possibly use YouTube as a quick refresher.  Just be prepared to have 0 social life and working is tremendously hard in a program like this. I just started working at a hospital 3 12's a week and I'm struggling bad.  I have never had any issues in school or college and have always had a 3.8+ GPA.  Condescending any nursing program into 3 week classes is eye opening.  I'm not comfortable sharing the name of the program but it is in northeast Ohio.

OK I hope you get through the program. Thank you so much

Thank you for the insight. I'm nervous ? having dyslexia and adhd but I believe it is absolutely possible! I did download Medical Terminology mad simple & easy on audible. I was just going there would be a few others that may be helpful. ??

Keep going, you don't have to be THE BEST we just need to pass and retain enough to get through to the end. ☺️

You can check out crash course on YouTube for A&P, micro and chem. Khan academy is another great resource on YouTube. There are countless nursing channels as well that go into depth on various topics.
