ABSN Programs

Hey guys!

I am currently applying to various ABSN programs around the US. I just graduated in June with my biology degree from Oregon State University. I graduated with a 3.37 GPA, am currently signed up for a CNA class that starts in a few weeks and am volunteering at OHSU starting this month. I have also shadowed a nurse at a local hospital here. All of my pre-reqs are Bs and above (I don't know the exact GPA and it seems variable depending on the school). I was wondering if anyone had any insight on my chances of getting into a program? I'm quite nervous about it and feel that I am qualified but don't necessarily have the highest GPA (although my Bachelor's degree was very hard!). Also I was wondering if anyone had any school recommendations? I've been doing a lot of research trying to narrow down my possibilities for Spring or Summer of next year.

Thanks!

I sent you a PM. Your GPA is good and I don't think you'll have an issue getting in somewhere assuming you apply to enough programs and that you interview well. I think the issue is more, can you afford to go to an ABSN program? Have you ever thought about getting an ADN first? Going away for an ABSN program is going to be very expensive.
