ABSN advice

Hi all!! I know there are a lot of different threads on the ABSN program already but I just need some more advice on it..

I have a 2.8 undergrad GPA ATM with my bachelor's in biology. I will be retaking one class I got a D in and the nursing pre-req's at my state college. My anticipated GPA after those classes will be a 3.0 exactly, if I get all A's. The min GPA for the schools I am looking to apply for are all 3.0. However, there is one class I took 3x in undergrad that I got a D in all 3 times because my advisor never told me I did not need a C in it to graduate!!! And that class is not offered at my local state college for me to retake. I plan to do some volunteer work at my local hospital as well. I have over a year experience in a hospital laboratory setting.

So here are my questions:

Do ABSN school's look strictly at cum GPA or do they look at your pre-req GPA more?

Does it help if I volunteer and had previous healthcare experience?

Will a good TEAS score and high pre-req GPA make up for my min GPA?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Especially if you are enrolled in the FIU, UCF, FAU, or USF's ABSN program!!! Thank you all so much!!
