A&P Challenge Test

I know just how you feel. I went back to nursing school for my RN and had to retake the NLN for A&P. Don't worry, you will do fine. When you take the test you will see how much A&P you use every day. Trust me, you know this stuff.

3SodaPop....Did you take the A&P test?? How was it?? I am taing my challenge exam today at 4:30 and I am scared to death!!! Was it more basic A&P or more indepth??

No, I haven't taken it yet. I sent in my application and they didn't say I needed it. I'm not sure if that's true, but I'm not going to question it. :wink2:

I've already taken A&P twice, but chances are I'll need to take the exam so please let me know how it went.

UGHHH...I hope you don't have to take it!!!!! I hope I am totally freaking over nothing and the test will be a peice of cake. I will let you now how it goes.

Mom2KandA, did you take the exam?

I am truly freaking myself out. I tried to take the class through an on line course but the schedule was too time consuming (I work full time nights and home school my kids) and decided that I need to take it with EC. I just do not even know how to study for it. Tell me how it went please.

Well, the test was hard.....I failed:-( I am going to retake it though. I have to focus more on the cells and that kind of stuff.

Definetly take the challenge exam....try to pass it, you get 2 chances. better than having to take the whole A&P class

Wanda, Did you take the practice exam before the actual test? I have never taken A&P (wasn't a requirement for LPN school). I feel very overwhelmed and frustrated....I simply do not know where to start studying. Any advice would be appreciated. Tali

What practice exam??

I bought an A&P book and studied through that. Plus, Where I work is working with Rivier College in Nashua and that is how we are doing the LPN to RN classes. We had study groups once a week.

The only advice is to study the book.

When is your test?

EC offers 2 practice exams for $65. They have questions taken from previous tests. I talked tot hem this morning. If you have paid to take the test ($335) you can purchase it. you should take the first one (I think it is 100 questions) and if you do really good take the second one. if you do not do very well on the first one it will tell you the areas you need to study.
