  1. The letter explain the current hiring freeze exemption approval process is now taking from 3 to 6 months and that is longer than anticipated. Because I am waiting for almost 3 months so I expect to wait for another 3 months
  2. Hi, Any new from your hospital. I just got an letter from my hiring coodinator, she said they are still waiting for State permission to hire new employee for another 3 months
  3. Hi maleinnursing, I had the 2nd interview with ASH on April 15. The ASH hiring coordinator also told me to wait 4-8 weeks for the hiring approval from MH Dept. I'm still waiting for the official offer. The coodinator also told me, just waiting, it's only matter of time to get hired after the applicant pass the hiring interview, nobody get denied before.
  4. Thanks again cincin1!. I did read a news about a pt skilled at NSH in last April just couple days before my interview with them. The article also talked about all the safety issues exactly like you mentioned here. However, I didn't pass the final interview at NSH, but I did with Atascadero State Hospital. The recruiter told me the hospital is waiting for final approval from Dept of MH for the hiring. I'm a newgrad and like you, so desperate. Bay area offers almost nothing for new RN like me. Any position requires at least 1 year of experience.
  5. Thanks cincin1 for your response! Could you please share a little more about factors contributed to your decision of quitting. I really appreciate for any input.
