  1. Hi, I am a new grad RN in the bay area. I just passed the NCLEX last January and still couldn't find a job. I've been calling some hospitals about new grad programs but some of them wouldn't open for this year. I've been applying to some nursing rehabilitation facilities, but I haven't got any positive response from them. Actually, I wouldn't mind relocating so I even tried applying in socal and central california, but still no luck. Does anyone have any advice for me in job hunting? And so I'm also thinking of moving to New York with my husband, but I want to know if my California license would be cancelled if I'll get like a reciprocity for a New York RN license. I don't want to leave Cali, I think this is the best place ever for me, but if I can't find any job here, I think its best for me to go out of state. I just want to know if its a right decision to go out of state, and if anybody know the steps in applying for reciprocity in NY. Thanks a lot!
  2. anyone here attended Excell Nclex-RN review? is it good? cause I've tried the kaplan review and was not impressed. i'm looking for a comprehensive type of review since i'm new here in the US. and if it's not that good, what review center would u recommend? thank u so much
  3. I am an RN in california. I just passed the NCLEX examination. I have not worked as an RN and have no professional experience as a Nurse. Me and my family are now moving to NY. What steps do i need to do to maintain my License as a Nurse when i move? Would it be hard and will there be alot of paper work to be done?
  4. thanks for your reply. are there documents that I need to present to work as a CNA? yup, i'm legal to work in the US. Do I need to have a license as a CNA? what are those documents that I need to present? thank u so much
  5. are there any hospitals that accept volunteers for nursing jobs preferably in the acute care setting? i am currently reviewing for my nclex-rn exam, and i am wondering if there are any hospitals here in the bay area that accepts volunteer nurses. i volunteered at a local hospital, but the problem is, it is very much clerical and it isn't connected to patient care, like lobby desk, etc. i didn't have any interim permit since i already took the nclex before and failed. i feel that i am very much "dry" with my content since it's been almost 2 years since i had nursing practice. thanks
  6. hi. i just want to know what's an interim permit? can i apply for it though i've taken the nclex exam and im just waiting for the result? thanks
  7. I just want to know if those trainings (like cpr, first aid, basic life support, advance life support) attended here in the philippines are credited in the states? I'm actually planning to attend some trainings here and I just don't know if they are credited once I get to US. And Can you suggest some offices that conduct those US-credited trainings? thank u.
  8. we all know that board of nursing in california is the slowest when it comes to sending their eligibilities. is it ok if i'll have my address changed into my aunt's address in California? Will it be more faster than addressed here in the Philippines? or would there be any immigration concerns?
  9. is the hong kong testing site for nclex still available? some people told me that hong kong is fully booked right now, is it true?
  10. is it ok if i quote that i don't have any intention in working for my home country? isn't that a little awkward and unpatriotic???
  11. I know some of you are scouting for the best review center for NCLEX exam. I know one that will fit within your standards, can help you with your application to the BON state of your choice, can give you enough information if your confused with the whole process, and can fit within your budget as well. Interested??? message me here or text me at 0921-241-35-57 or 0915-590-2313.This is for REAL and not a scam, ok??? --kat:balloons:
