Valor interview tomorrow!

Hello!

I have aver my valor interview tomorrow in Seattle. Does anybody have any words of advice!?

Good luck! I had mine today, it was fine. There was a panel of nurses from the va asking questions like: "where do you see yourself in a year, 5, 10 years." And situations like "you walk into a room with a 65 year old man having severe trouble breathing, what do you do first?" Etc. My interview was maybe 15 minutes tops. We should hear within a couple of weeks. So nervous!

Thank you for the reply! Was your interview in Seattle!? How was the facility? Did they give a hint as to how many people they are interviewing?

No, I'm in colorado. I've done clinicals at the VA here, it's an excellent place! I think they probably interviews around 10 people, but I don't know for sure. The didn't interview all applicants. They have 3 spots, but it's different everywhere.

I was notified today I was chosen! It starts as soon as the semester ends. I feel so honored and excited!!! Great way to kick off spring break!

I was just notified today as well!! It's 6 hours away... I need to figure out the logistics... Any advice? I have two young children.... And congrats!!

Kplp1111, congratulations to you too! That stinks that it's so far away! I guess I got lucky with the VA in the same town I live in. Good luck working it out. I have kids, but I have ones old enough to babysit so it'll work out that way.

I'm getting all my paperwork in now (background check etc) and can't wait till the next step! I've been placed in the ambulatory surgery, do you know yours yet?
