Did you have to pay first then Excelsior reimbursed after receiving payment? How does this work exactly?

no you fill in the start and end dates with how much time you are going to use to study...like say you are going to take A&P, you fill out the TA (tuition assistance) form with start day 15 May 2012 and end day (let say you want two months to study) 15 July 2012. Then you have to take that exam no later than 15 July (your end date). You can take it prior to if you need to as well but it must be done by the end date!

I used it for the first year i was in school. Make sure you send the TA form to the registars office (can be emailed or faxed) and call the VA financial aid office and give them heads up about using the MyCAA form.
