Anybody attend Everest Institute (formerly Olympia) for PN?

I'm considering a 1 year intensive training (and lots of $$ - $24k) for PN.

Any advice you can give would be great! Thanks! :)

I'm currently in the PN program at Everest. I graduate in 10 weeks and counting. It definately has its pro's and con's like any other school. We have some great instructors who also teach at CC and Univeristy, they extensive training and they really no there stuff. Then you have some instructors who really need to retire :o they are sweet and caring people but they just shouldn't be teaching. During your first level it appears that you are being spoonfed and it's to easy, it almost seemed liked a joke. Some of us were thinking nursing school not be this easy. Some of us have degrees and graduated Summa or Magna so I don't no if that makes a difference. Everest dont require prereqs. or any college experience so maybe that's why they try to move slow the first level. Second level was another story, they threw us to the wolves :uhoh3: it was so overwhelming. Everest is constantly trying to improve so when asked how could they improve my class suggested being more consistant. Don't spoon feed us 1st level and throw us to the wolves 2nd level. Keep it consistant throw us to the wolves from the beginning :lol2: Overall the experience has been great! I have been blessed to get some of the better clinical instructors. The one's that set high standards and no their stuff. It's just the luck of the draw. If you plan on going for your RN you want the clinical instructors who are going to challenge you. Let me no if you want to no anything else. The program cost me 25-26k

I was wondering do u work while u are in school, how were all the cost covered, What time do u guys get out of class, can u transfer after to a University or do u have to wait for there bridge program? I was really consider going but, Work? $ Etc
