When I was 17 , I am now 20, I was arrested twice, once for Public Intoxication and the other time for assault family violence. There was never a court hearing for wither, and on the assault charge I did plead guilty before a judge to set bail. I am a totally different person now and when i finish the program I will be 22. I just want to know if I will still be able to get my licence as an RN with these things from my psat on my record? Thank you.

No one here can answer that. The decision will depend on the particulars of the cases. The state board will review the facts and make a decision. Contact the state board and ask them to make a decision. They may wait until you actually apply for a license to make an official ruling -- but they might give you a preliminary ruling before that.

Also, assuming you get a license, each individual employer will make a decision based on the particular facts of your history. Pre-employment criminal background checks are becoming increasingly common in the health care field. Each employer then sets its own guidelines for what they will and will not accept in an employee. For example, my employer (a children's hospital) usually excludes anyone with a history of violence or with a history of any crimes against children.
