I just discovered Quaker Oatmeal Express (The baked apple is my personal fave!) This stuff is awesome! 200 calories and 2.5 gms of fat and scrumptious! It is so easy to cook. I eat at work so that's important to me. You just remove the cover, fill to the inside line with water and nuke for 1 minute. They are only $1.29 each too. Anyone else have any easy breakfast faves for work days?

Quaker Honeynut oatmeal with vanilla yogurt stirred in it.
Or a crunchy granola cereal with any creamy yogurt drizzled over it.

I LOVE FRIED EGG SANDWICHES.
PROBLEM:NO STOVE AT WORK.
ANSWER:BACON AND HARD BOILED EGG BETWEEN TOAST.
HOW TO: COOK BACON BY THE POUND AND FREEZE IT IN THREE STRIP PORTION WRAPPED IN SARAN WRAP. IT WILL KEEP ABOUT 4 MONTHS IN THE FREEZER. HARDBOIL EGGS BY THE DOZEN AND MARK THEM WITH A PENCIL AND STORE IN FRIDGE. THEY WILL LAST ABOUT 2-3 WEEKS. EGGS CAN ALSO BE BROUGHT FOR LUNCH TO MAKE EGG-SALAD SANDWICHES OR TO ADD TO A SALAD (BRING SOME BACON TO CRUMBLE IN THE SALAD ALSO).

Fat free cottage cheese mixed with Yoplait Light Apple Turnover yogurt with a handful of cut up granny smith apple chunks mixed in and a dash of cinnamon. Sometimes I will throw some vanilla protein powder in there.
Also, a slice of whole wheat bread with natural peanut butter.

I don't feel so bad...I love yogurt & granola mixed for lunch but for breakfast I want coffee and a sausage biscuit.
jnette...I LOVE yogurt mixed w/ granola cereal. Lately I have also been using Kretchmer's honey toasted wheat germ in my yogurt...mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I like the bacon and hard boiled egg idea too. I actually bought some ready to serve bacon made by Oscar Meyer when I was Atkinizing. I haven't tried it yet, but you either nuke it or put it in a skillet for a minute or so to heat it.

Lately I can't get enough of French Toast. I work night shift and it is my favorite breakfast before I go to bed. Love it!

I have been out of the habit of eating breakfast, but will soon force myself to go back on the wagon with a slow release sugar bolus in the morning.
I put a Glad container in the microwave with about 1/2 cup of oatmeal/grits/farina in bulk, salt, brown sugar and wheat germ nut if I'm good. I can make 5-6 at a time and stack them. The trick is to set the microwave at 40% radiation and increase the time to about 10 minutes.
At work they make and sell a "breakfast burrito" which is $2.50 and has eggs, bacon, sour cream, cheeze, potato, mushrooms...That is the best breakfast. It would take me several weeks to burn out on them everyday. I have them once in a blue moon because I work swings.

HELP! I'm having a hard time with breakfast. I can't eat first thing in the morning-I usually work 7-3. If I wait until after I get to work, I usually end up very busy and don't have time to stop until lunch. By then I am starving! I have noticed a big difference on those days I can take a break in the morning and eat. Am I strange?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
