Hi, do you know if they are hiring new grads? Also do they offer housing for the employees? Thanks, and congrats!

Hi Rhondy,
How do you like it at YRMC so far? I'm thinking of taking a travel position there and have seen many mixed reviews.
Thanks!
Judy
They do hire new grads. I am one of ten new grads being trained for the ER and I had a classmate get hired on last year straight in to L&D. They offer housing assistance for 3 months.
So far I enjoy it. The ER is really busy, so that helps me learn a lot. I am not sure how the other floors are yet :)

Can you give me any information on the new grad ER rotation? I saw that they are in the process of recruiting another 10 new grads that will start end of February and think it is an amazing opportunity! :)

Hi,
I was just wondering if they are still hiring new grads? I went to the website but could not find any info.... Is it an actual new grad program?
They just closed out the position on the website about 2 weeks ago and did notifications this past weekend. I was hired for an 8 month New Grad ER intern position with a 3 year contract. Program consists of didactic, skills, and rotation through the other units in the hospital. After that you move to the ER and follow a preceptor. I don't know how often they do the program for new grads I just happened to come across the position on one of the job sites.
Wow -how exciting! That is a great opportunity!! Congratulations!! :yelclap: I will definitely keep my eye out in case they offer it again!!
Thanks for the info!
You are more than welcome and thank you! :w00t:

Hi, I have also been accepted into the New Grad ER intern program at Yuma Regional Medical Center and scheduled to start at the end of Feb 2012. Are you already in Yuma or are you moving there?? I have not received all of the info and was wondering if anyone else has? Thanks
