What is the one supply for nursing school you are going to splurge on?
For me is a good stethoscope.

iPad! Those books are ridiculously huge and you'll need them the whole program.

I'm in my last semester, but if I had to go back and do it all again (God forbid!), I'd place a high priority on a new laptop, as mine decided to just quit working in my first semester. That really made things so much harder for me until I got a new one a few months later. Next in line would be a good pair of shoes. In reality, I opted for the good stethoscope, but found (by trying a few of my classmate's stethoscopes) that many less expensive ones would have done just fine. When it comes to clinical, my best purchase was a pulse oximeter. Those things were scarce and my clinical instructors did not tolerate us reporting vitals one minute later than the time they designated.
