I am sooooo happy! Just got a phone call from hospital and I got the full time position on Medical - Surgical Unit as a CNA/Clerk Unit :) I was offered also a position on CVU unit but unfortunately that one was evening shift and I would't see mu hubby too often :/
Also, I am more confident about getting the job as a new RN on Medical - Surgical especially if I will stick with them during nursing school :)

Congratulations!!! I am still waiting to take my test! Once I do that I will have a job at the hospital I work at currently:D
Good for you! :) And good luck on your test! :)
Before I got my job at hospital I worked in nursing home for eight months. I had to before I was eligible for a position in our local hospital. It was hard and we were understaffed from time to time but I survived it :)

Great for you. Let us know how it goes. Do you have acute care experience?
Are you asking me or Ladicapricorn841 ? :)

Congratulations! :)
I was honestly asking either. The reason is, I received my CNA license in Nov. 09 and am in a acute care class. I finish class next week. Hospitals in my area, ie: Ca. will not hire you without the acute care unless you have 1 year+ experience in LTC. I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences.:)
I do not have an acute experience at all.
In my hospital they require at least six months experience in LTC before you can apply. No acute experience necessary :)
