I went to a LPN school through our local school district (since been taken over by a local CC) and it was 101/2 months. Yep,, cramed but was worth it and was a very good program. Not sure if there are any left like that though.
If you live in the Chicago area like I said before in an earlier post. the only lpn schools in the Chicago area are at Dawson Tech and South Suburban. I currently attend Dawson and it is a pretty good school. It seems like all the lpn's I have encountered lately have come from Dawson. I personally feel like they have a pretty good program. I also have an uncle that goes to South Suburban and he likes it as well. If you live in the area I feel that you can't go wrong with either choice.:blushkiss
