Hello all,
Let's start this 2020 application cycle thread. Anyone will be applying this Summer?
Yes. Last year we had until 1st week of Nov to accept or decline. Then all who accepted got a packet in our emails with cost of attendance, payment due dates, orientation agenda, instructions how to upload your immunizations, info on signing up for a drug test & background check, other fees (that I mentioned in a previous post) and all deadlines. We had appx 5 weeks after that packet was sent out to get all the stuff done and documents uploaded to a website called medproctor. Had to use our WSSU email.
Then orientation was approximately 1 week after all that was due. There were some exceptions with immunizations bc of how they are scheduled weeks apart.
Just an update . I finally received my acceptance letter ! I’m so happy to be apart of this cohort ?

Hello,
WSSU ABSN program is only a Spring start option. They do have traditional programs that are Fall, and Spring start. Make sure that all of your prerequisite courses are completed before you turn in your application, and that they are up to date. The sciences courses cannot be older than 7 years. I wouldn't push it past 6 years old, just to be safe. Last year I thought I was at the 7 year mark, but they told me I'd still have to retake A&P I and II. Make sure that you have the SAT or ACT scores within limits. I know a couple of people who were a little below the cutoff, and they applied hoping to still get in because their grades were good, and they didn't get in, unfortunately. The application process usually runs from August 1st to September 1st. I think this is the first year they allowed the applications to be online, which was a blessing honestly, because it also sent us a verification email to let us know it had been turned in. If you mail the application, the department will not notify you if they've received it, from what I've heard.
Good luck to you on your nursing adventure!

Hello I’m a senior at NC A&T graduating December and will be applying for the 2022 cohort. I follow this thread diligently but have a couple questions that I can hopefully get answered by previous or existing student. One of them being does anyone have an exact number of what tuition is for in state students?
