Let's start this 2020 application cycle thread. Anyone will be applying this Summer?

I was accepted into Forsyth Tech, but I kept weighing it in my mind, ADN or Bachelor's degree. I was always afraid that I wouldn' get into an ABSN program. I decided if I can get into Forsyth Tech, I'm going to try WSSU.

I have also been thinking about applying to a community college -DCCC but it would take more time to become an RN plus RN to BSN but hey I know a nurse practitioner or did it that way . It took her 6-7 years to finish but she did it .  And you should try , the sky’s the limit .

Hi Everyone, I unfortunately did not get in and the reason was because my SAT score from 11 years ago did not meet their requirement of 500. I did get into Duke but it was way too expensive  and waitlisted at Carolina, hoping to get off the waitlist ! Good Luck to everyone still waiting to hear, Im sure you got in :)

Wow that’s awesome you got accepted to Duke! Congrats and good luck I’m sure you’ll get in Carolina also . Thank you ?

Congratulations on your other acceptances!

What did you get the 500 in?  I thought before a certain year, they allowed 470?

Wow, Duke is awesome! All of the doors are open for Duke graduates. Congratulations!

I was told the their requirement is a 500 for the reading portion of the SAT and because I didn't have that, I was denied. Thanks everyone!
