How long were you off work with wrist fracture? Did you regain full function?

That depends on the type of fracture you had. I had a colles fracture, and worked as a nurse's aide with the cast on (48 years ago). 

Best advice would be to ask your doctor.

I Fx my left wrist in 2 places I was casted 6 weeks I worked ED at time ,I was able to return to work week 7.

Ty for the responses. All I know is that the struggle is real mentally. Been home 4 weeks. Can't wait to return.

Fracture of one of the small bones of the wrist, week in a plaster cast, 4 weeks in a splint. Probably should have been off longer than 4 weeks but I was desperate to get back

Hello. Has anyone had OT for wrist fx? How long did your stiffness and swelling last? How long were you in therapy? Thank you.
