Wow, so many only got 75 questions!

I'm sitting here mildly freaking out, seeing how many posters said they were guessing and were blown away by the test and still got only 75 questions and passed. Now, I can picture myself in the same boat, but being the one who manages to guess each one wrong! Argh.

I'm working on the Kaplan Q-Bank questions mostly, lately. I find that I can always narrow it down to two answers, but only about HALF the time I manage to pick the right guess! I'm screwed :uhoh21: My grades on the Q-bank tests have ranged from a low of 56 to a high of 73 (averaging about 62 I think)

Still have four weeks to figure out how the hell to guess the RIGHT one :uhoh3: before the exam. I wonder how I can tell if I'm one of those people who magically get through the danged thing while guessing, or if I'm one of those pitiful souls who can't BUY a correct guess?!?

ACK>>>

just keep reviewing the questions,,,, good luck

thanks :)

I've been spending time reading through the Kaplan content, too (sort of the Cliff Notes for NCLEX!). Yesterday's quiz was a 70-something. Still don't feel like I know anything!

Have you tried using ABC's, Maslow or the Nursing Process on those questions?

Trust me, i know exactly what you talking about. I have been getting about the average of 60-62 in the tests. I will be giving nclex in next 19 days and feel like i need to do tons more... i can narrow down most questions to 2 answers just like you said and usually end up choosing the wrong one.....grrrr, but i guess all we can do is just keep practicing more and more questions, pray a lot and hope it all works out!!!!!!!!

Try to not dwell on how many questions everyone else had. I just took mine Tuesday, and had the entire 265. I got so worried when it wouldn't shut off, that I almost cried druing the exam. I walked out sobbing, knowing that I knew nothing and was doomed to repeat the horrible thing again. I got my quick results today, and had to stare at the computer for about 10 min before I could bear the bad news. But guess what, I passed! So see, just stay positive, relax, and know that you will be fine. Trust your judgement, and don't freak out if you have more questions than the person next to you.
