I am super excited!!! I had an interview today for a graduate nurse position at 11 am and I really didn't think it went well at all. I was super nervous but still continued to answer questions from all four of the panel members. This was my first nursing interview and it was at my first choice of hospitals to work at. I cried all the way home because I really wanted this position and I thought I screwed up my chances. By 4 pm, I received the phone call with a job offer!! I am so happy. My start date is right after graduation!!!:yeah:

Ok my question is where is this hospital so I can apply too! I have been out of school for three months, resume sent everywhere, great reccomendations and not even a call for an interview!

i live in Florida and they hire new grads in my city . they start you at $18/hr and when you get your license they bump you up to $10 more an hour. (depending on what specialty you go in)
they also have this new program they started coming out with for new grads its called "Versant Program". because they say 1 in 5 new grad quits after their first year. with this program they get you reallly prepared to tackle anything. so far ive heard nothing but great feedbacks about it.

Great Job! Group interviews are stress interviews usually. If so, beware of low-ball offers. YMMV :-)
Thanks, I am very happy with my offer. :heartbeat
