Hi, I just recently graduated from my LVN program here in California. I'm really intrested in Wound Care Certification. My questions is, do I need to pass Nclex first and be a certified LVN in order for me to be qualified to get the Wound Care Certification? Thanks.

More than likely yes. I would imagine that for a professional nursing certificate that attaches to the licensed individual, the individual would have to have the license first. It will likely add to your LVN title. Alphabet soup woot woot!!! :)

I was able to take IV CERT course without having my actual license yet. I just provided my graduation/school transcripts.
