Would pharmacy tech training HELP with nursing school?

Any nurses on here that were pharmacy techs?

would taking a pharmacy tech course be beneficial before starting nursing school?

I'm not a nurse yet. However, I don't think a pharmacy tech course would be beneficial before starting nursing school. It would kind of help in the sense of knowing the drug classifications and such however; that's it. Maybe taking a Nursing Pharmacology course would help. I don't really know.

Pharmacy tech training would increase your knowledge on pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics of various medications. However, it is unnecessary IMHO.
