Hi all.
I'm new to this site and I like it alot. I just got into the school of nursing, mn. I'm working on my RN, BSN degree. Our school is a three years program so that means if I start in fall 05, I'll graduate in spring 08. So I have three long years ahead of me in the nursing school, until I become RN. Currently I'm finishing my second year in college. Okey enough about me.
I would like to meet new friends in the nursing community. Friends whom I can share my experience in the nursing school and beyond that. I would like to meet nurses of any kind and nurses to be.

Hi-
Good luck to you in Nursing School!! It is alot of hard work but fun too in a wierd way!! Keep plugging away and it will go fast. I am in my third semester of an ADN program and hopefully if all goes well, one more semester. Positive attitude is a huge thing and make lots of friends. Seems like the nursing students do stick together!!!!!!
Take Care!!!

hi! i just became a CNA today and i would like to make some nursing friends, too. i was SO nervous about the written exam! the most nerve-racking part was just waiting to hear if i passed or not! the practical part was easy. i hope that i can get a job soon. im only 17. do u think that a nursing home would hire me because of my age?
hey, if you want to make a nursing friend, and you have msn messenger, plz add me at [email protected]. thanks! im looking for more nursing friends, too!

congret pepperann on becoming a CNA, I am currently enrolled in a BSN program and will grad. in 2007. Do u just want to work in a nursing home, or do u want to work at the hosptial too.
Congrats on passing the CNA exam!! It was not too bad, right? I am in my third semester of nursing and will graduate in Dec 05-- I am sure a nursing home would hire you as long you have passed the state exam!! I do not see why they would not. If you want to continue on to nursing school when it was time---Just a bit of advice is do not base nursing on working as a CNA. It is much different than being a nurse. I am just saying if you get tired of doing CNA work; Nursing is alot different> Hospitals are awesome to work in as CNA. Get your experience and then transfer to a hopspital, I think you will like it more. You get a wide variety of clients instead of only geriatrics. However, I am a fan of geriatrics. Anyways, sorry to go on and on.... Good luck to you and I am sure you will make a great CNA.... Be good to your nurses and Be good to your patients, ofcourse!! :)

Welcome to nursing and congratulations.
I think you want to find the studnet nurse boar as opposed to this board. This forum is for nurses who work in K - 12 (mostly) education settings with school aged kids.
