Worried about NCLEX......ANY ADVICE?

Published

I graduated on May 1, 2010 and did not receive my ATT until the beginning of June. I decided to schedule my nclex-rn June 30. I was just wondering how often did you guys study for the nclex-rn?? I have been working full time since graduating and I am also 6.5 months pregnant, so by the time I get home from work, I CRASH!!! I am just trying to get the nclex-rn out of the way before the baby comes. I also have a job waiting on me, pending my nclex-rn results. I know people may tell me not to work full time and focus on studying, but I NEED the money! I usually get 25-50 questions done per day with the new 2010 Davis's nclex-rn review book. It is really awesome and I do pretty good with the question results. I guess I just get nervous because I hear of students who study all day and do thousands of questions! I would have done the Kaplan review but it is too expensive and i live so far away from the review sessions. Is anyone in the same boat as I? Really scared! :uhoh3:

I take NCLEX RN Wed next week...and yes, I'm very nervous about it. I wonder the same thing...am I ready for it? Well, IDK what else I could've done differently. I've been studying and doing at least 100 questions a day. I've been using Saunders and Davis. As much as I wanted to use Kaplan and other online review classes, I don't really have the money. When I took the NCLEX LPN, all I used was Saunders and stopped at 75 questions and passed. I pray with all my heart that God will bless me again and pass NCLEX next week. I wish you the best...Good luck.

You will find out when the day comes if you worked hard enough. If you are working, two hours a day may be all you can do. But if they are a good two hours, maybe that is all you need. Three weeks, or three months to test date. Up to you to schedule your test after sufficient time to prepare. Good luck.
