working in Saudi Arabia

Hello,

I am an American National, but have been living in Lebanon for a long time. I took my BS in nursing, from the American University of Beirut, and have been working for 2 years in the American University of Beirut Medical Center intensive care unit.

I'm Thinking of working in Saudi Arabia, but I'm not sure if I'll be accepted as an American. Do I have to do the NCLEX ? I'm confused and not sure what is the best thing to do right now.

Any advice on this would be of great help.

Thanks in advance.

If anything, you may not be accepted as a male nurse. -gotta love cultural differences!

Nursing is a profession serving humanity, both males and females are involved alike :)

Anyway thanks for the reply.

But I could try, there is always a small probability for acceptance, though its very unlikely.
