Hey I was wondering what your advice would be on working during nursing school. I am planning on working 4 midnight shifts per week in the lab at the hospital, and most of those nights would be on the weekends. I would probably even be able to study at work. Do you guys think this is a wise decision, or do you think I should choose to work less? have any of you worked while in a nursing program? Thanks!Kara
erickz623 69 Posts Feb 2, 2016 It's up to you whether you can handle it or not. There are several students in my program that work 12 hour shifts on the weekend and they're able to do their homework there. I tried to work last semester, but it didn't work out for me.
%D#2 298 Posts Feb 2, 2016 I am planning on working doubles during the weekend. I need 30+ hours a week to keep benefits and school hours are all day during the week.
