Working for hospital in Bryan/College Station TX

Anyone with recent experience working at St Josephs or College Station medical center? I would like to leave the traffic and bustle of Houston and move to BCS. With only two hospitals in the area, I worry about job options. If I don't like where I work, I have one more shot, then it's back to Houston.

One concern is the "we are the only game in town/it's my way or the highway" mentality you might run into when there are no competitors in the area.

Where I work in Houston we have saying,"I passed four hospitals on my way to work to get to this one". It's an employees market because there is so much competition and not enough staff to go around. I have never been in the opposite situation. Any insight would be appreciated.
