I have been an FNP for a couple months, but could only find a prn position initially, so not a lot of total experience yet. I recently got a part time position and as I have started working realize I need a refresher on some different medications. One of my biggest problems is knowing which antibiotics to use for different conditions especially when they are allergic or have contraindications to my "favorites."
Does anyone have any good sites or books they use for review and or CEU's that aren't too expensive?
Thanks!

Fitzgerald offers some good basic courses.
Otherwise it's not too complicated. Know what the common bugs are for the condition you are treating and select an agent that covers those bugs and isn't contraindicated by allergy, bioavailability, or concurrent medications.
