Hi! I am inquiring as if any fellow nurses have had any success getting a job after being convicted of a felony? I had stips on my nursing license which have been fulfilled and it's a few years out now. I would give anything to return to nursing! Any info would be helpful! Thank you!

After glancing at your prior posts, I understand that your felonies are practice related. If it were me, I think I would move to a place where they're desperate for nurses and apply for the worst jobs.
I do wish you luck!

And if you live anywhere near the metro east St. Louis area, there's a hospital I refer to as Wrongway Regional Medical Center. They'll take just about anybody who has a pulse with an RN behind their name.
I've gone as far as to write a letter of condemnation about a prospective Nurse, who had worked at Wrongway as an agency nurse, so the person would not be hired. In the letter I stated I would go through any lengths to not have to work with this individual.
Otherwise, I'm sure they would have been hired.

Looking at your past posts, while you seem to have been able to get your license back with stips, you have an OIG problem that prevents you from working at any facility that receives Federal funding. Apparently you still have around 3 years go to before you clear that restriction. I would suspect that the vast majority of facilities receive some form of Federal funding. Unless you've cleared up the OIG problem, you're basically stuck for a while longer.
I would imagine that even the described "Wrongway Regional Medical Center" receives Federal funding and I doubt they'd want to bring any scrutiny upon themselves for hiring a nurse that can't legally work there... and if they even do a cursory background check on you, they'll probably see the OIG problem and drop you faster than a hot potato.

I feel for your situation, OP. I think Wrongway Regional Medical Center must be my facility's parent company - we'll call it Wrongway North, as we're up in the Chicago region. Pulse and RN? Check. Please don't regale psychotic patients with stories of your sexual adventures, even if they are adults. (It's a long story, okay, and that's not even the best one I have, but I'm afraid to say too much.) The OIG thing, though, I can see being a problem, as Wrongway North does like their money and most of our patients are federally funded.

I am a great nurse... I don't want ppl thinking I am some horrible thing. What happened to me was because I was bullied by a physician. I don't want ppl thinking I am one of those nurses that is an awful person.
How do I do this?
Oh yes... the OIG... thank you for reminding me... I truly am a good nurse. I am saddened by this as this was a physician/nurse bully situation.

Just because something didn't shake your way, doesn't mean that you were bullied.

Well if it wasn't for "contract nurses" (troubled nursing) most psych facilities wouldn't have nurses working the floors. I worked with one person who headed the state program for the nurses c/ substance abuse problems and let me tell you that list was pretty expansive for the number in the state that had an RN lic. and most were DUI. I got into psych b/c i blew my back out in critical care and a friend brought me in.
But #1 place to check....psych facilities.
