when will the license for june 2007 nurses be released?

Guys, do u know wen will the license for june 2007 NLE passers be released? i wanted to take the cgfns this march 2008 and they would need the license no..unless i have my license then i wouldn't be able to work on my application..or i maybe mistaken??does anyone know how cgfns application work?...i really wanted to take the exam this march but the delay is taking the toll on me...help pls!

Some threads already written discussing license issues but get the impression it is being done alphabetically.

Also do you need to do CGFNS exam as now only a small handful of states require it so if not needed no reason to take it

have you registered? read your claim stub, it's written there

hi!

we are in the same situation except that I will use that for CES report courtesy by the CGFNS. For your question, your license will be release as soon you register for your license (your registration date) from there, you will pay fee for your license then you will have to wait for a month or two for the release of your license (the claiming date of your license will be indicated on green form or oath form [i think])

If you didn't register on you register date, I advise you to go to the PRC directly. I guess they do have the dates for the registration for those who failed to register for their license.

Its kind a obvious that you haven't registered yet. Here's what you need to do.. Register to PRC and that's the time you'll know when you can get your license.... Its about 1 1/2 mos. So better register now so that you can submit your required documents.

its i your claim stab the date of the release of the hard card. but you can have your license number verufucation after you register at the PRC , you can have the form for the license validation.

i would like to ask if the hard license would not needed to apply for license verification at the PRC. i have already registered but i was told that ill be able to get hold of my hard license 6-8months after. i can't wait that long since i will be applying for visascreen this january. i registered here in davao. im wondering if i could do the application for verification in manila, would it speed up the processing? :icon_question:thanks for your replies.

No, you don't need the hard license. For license verification purposes for visa screen certification and CGFNS certification you only need your license number and you already have it. Your license number is your registration number when you registered.

In addition, CGFNS and ICHP (visa screen) only requires that you use their License Verification Form (in the Visa screen or CGFNS application packet) and submit that to PRC and PRC will simply put your license number on it, counter-sign, dry seal it, and send it to them (for a fee). That's the whole license verification process for CGFNS or VSC certfication purposes.

If you want more details re: the Visa screen process then you only have to read the handbook and the application packet, everything is in there.

thanks lawrence for your prompt reply. i already asked about the license verification here in PRC Davao and was told that i have to have my hard license first before they will entertain my application for license verification for CGFNS. i have already done the same license verification last year but unfortunately i have to do it all over again because i was part of the june 2006 passers that's why i took the whole test all over again. my license last year was released 4months after my registration date. for this year i registered last oct 17 and was told to claim my license after 6-8months. i am now thinking of doing the application for license verification in manila since PRC Davao just like any provincial office would cause me too much delay.

Sure, you can do that. PRC Manila does this all the time. Not sure why PRC Davao needs the hard license but before you go to Manila, it would be wise that you call them first to confirm if they still do that.

Hello shara. We are more or less in the same predicament. i am from cebu and PRC here says i need to wait for prc card to be released before i can process license verification. i hope you won't mind letting me know if there is a way around this through Manila PRC.
