Hi everyone!
I began applying to CRNA programs and was rejected from my first application. Looking for insight and any advice or recommendations.
My cumulative GPA is a 3.2 and cumulative science GPA is a 3.3 (not considering classes retaken)
I retook graduate level anatomy and physiology with a lab, graduate pharmacology, and graduate pathophysiology. I then took a undergrad stats (for more recent year) and biochemistry. All of these courses I received an A in.
Work experience:
-—-neuro/trauma ICU level 1 for 2 years w/ preceptor, charge, ultrasound IV placement team, quality counsel, helped develop electrolyte replacement protocol, and rapid response team. —-MICU and COVID ICU 2 years (travel nurse) with preceptor, rapid response and ultrasound IV placement team
—-Float pool ICU 2 years (travel nurse) with preceptor, rapid response, ultrasound IV placement team
—-Trauma/Surgical ICU charge nurse, preceptor, quality counsel, rapid response nurse
certifications CCRN, CMC, ACLS, BLS, PALS
expert in all machines and designated trainer except for ECMO and IABP
shadow 40hours
I would really appreciate any advice!
