I was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon on spouse, my boyfriend at the time wrongfully accused me and later told the police it didn't happen. The District Attorney never filed the charges and no complaint was filed. I was given a "detention only" certificate stating the arrest was deemed a detention only. I ran a DOJ finger print background and it shows these charges and I am worried what trouble this will cause me with getting my AZ license. I am currently in nursing school and don't want to waste time/money. Please advise... (also I called AZ BON & they weren't any help) anyone with similar situation?? Or knowledge?

Your best bet would be to consult with a lawyer who specializes in BON issues. This situations are so rare and so unique that I'm not sure anyone else's advice would be of much help.
Hopefully this incident occurred in the distant past.

Even if someone had similar circumstances, there is no assurance your case would be treated the same way. Obtain the assistance of an attorney.
