Hello All
I recently applied to Widener University's Accelerated BSN program . I am currently awaiting a decision letter and I am so anxious. Has anyone else applied to the program and/or received a decision already ?

I got my acceptance letter. But the financial aspect of it is making me cringe.
Congratulations ! When did you receive your letter ? I'm still waiting for mine they said it should come this week. How much is it ?
It was really weird how I found out. I actually FIRST got an email on the 26th of Feb talking about an accepted Students Day that I had to attend, I found that weird because I didn't get any letter or anything like that notifying me that I had actually got accepted. So I called and talked to a woman who said that I was was accepted but there was a delay in sending out the letters. The actual letter arrived the 27th, which was Monday. I called them today to talk about the finances part and so far I have a tuition quote of 44,411 that includes a 90 tech fee and a 155 fee for clinicals. We'll also be charged for a half semester for both summer sessions. I'm going there between 2 and 2:30 to talk more about this. I'll tell you everything I learn.
Okay , Thank you I would really appreciate that . I also received that email for the Accepted Students Day. So I was under speculation. I received an email with my credentials for the student portal and email after I requested to activate my account online . But still no letter I'm praying it comes today so that I can have some reassurance . But yes let me know what information you find out.
If you have that much you're in.^_^ Theres' just a delay in sending out the letters. Call them if it'll ease some tension. They can look it up right away.

Hi! I have been accepted and received my acceptance packet. Are you ladies going to accepted students day this month?

Yup, I already registered to go. I received my financial offer too. They processed everything pretty quickly. I still feel on the fence though.
I am still waiting for the letter it got lost in the mail so they have to send out a copy of the folder for me . But I did get accepted so now to complete my fafsa. I was wondering if i would still get any financial aid for the second degree i didn't think hey have it for a second bachelors . What information did you receive abt the financial aid ?
So I learned that regardless, a private loan is required, because of the summer sessions and that fafsa will not cover the complete cost of attending. For me, I ended up with 9k not covered by fafsa that will need to be filled in with loans for one year. Thats not including the price of the summer course. Scholarships will count towards the summer sessions though. Those were the most important points.
