Why am I not nervous anymore?

I used to stress out about if I get into the nursing program or not. It's been a long wait and now I'm not nervous. Is it because I have a back up plan or what?

I'm so afraid (not really nervous afraid anymore) that I'm going to be a bad nursing student. Why is the problem here?

I am waiting for the call from the nursing department at my school to let me know I'm in. I have 38 out of a possible of 42 points so I'm pretty sure I'll be getting in this semester. I have worked very hard to get to where I am and I am so nervous that I will fail it scares the crap out of me. So I talk to people who have seen what I have done so far and they remind me that I've come this far I can go all the way. You just have to clear your head prepare yourself for what you can and go along for the ride for what you can't. I have been do a lot of research on what the program is like and good study habits and that helps calm the nerves a little. I think everything will be fine once you get into it and take it day by day.
